What type of phone system(s) do you offer? Manufacturers?
We sell systems from four manufacturers: 3Com, ESI, Avaya and Panasonic. We specialize in systems that are classified as "IP", or those systems well-suited for multi-site companies and companies with "tele-workers". -
What type of instllation services and support do you provide?
We are a full-service installation, training and support. We use our own full-time employees to provide these services. Some companies only sell, but cannot fully service their systems. -
How do you charge for your services?
Most of our jobs are project-based. That is, we meet with the customer, determine their needs and quote a fixed price system to meet those needs. Our pricing is turnkey - everything (the system, training, 5-yr warranty) is included in our proposal. We can also charge hrly for work not included in the warranty (moves/adds/changes), but our systems are so easy that most customers do it themselves! -
Why should we choose you for our telephone system needs?
We have installed over 200 VoIP-enabled systems since our first IP system in 1999. Ask the other vendors how many IP systems THEY have installed. We typically give a sheet with 18 references (company, name, phone, email, etc.) to call. Our customers love us and it shows in their comments. We are long-term, partnership focused. We get business almost exclusively from referrals from customers. -
Are you bonded and insured?
We have $2,000,000 in liability insurance and have coverage for employee dishonesty and other provisions that protect our customers. -
Do you provide free estimates?
We know how complicated this industry can be to someone not familiar with the terminology and features in today's systems. We provide an hour of complimentary consulting during our first visit in order to learn about your business, make some preliminary recommendations and learn enough to produce an accurate proposal. We also insist on doing on-site walk-throughs for cabling projects. -
How long does it typically take to have this type of work completed?
Most installations happen within a day or two, including both user and administrator training. Some cabling jobs can go longer - depending on the complexity of the installation and the number of wires being installed. -
What makes you different from other contractors?
We have been in business long enough (since 1993) that we've seen it all, from 5-person non-profits to commercial jobs with 650 devices across 5 separate locations. Our customers range in knowledge and sophistication and we cater to each accordingly to their needs. Our engineers are dually trained and certified in both computer and telephony skills and even know how to spell "IP"! -
Do you assist in obtaining permits?
We are often the ones who obtain the permit from the local authorities for the technology (Cabling, etc.) being installed. -
What type of phone system(s) do you offer? Manufacturers?
3Com, ESI and Avaya. We can do a fully IP system or one that is "converged" - a digital system with the advantages that entails, plus the ability to bring a single (or many) phones home to an executive's home for full IP functionality. Branch offices are no problem for us - we do it every day. -

What carrier(s) do you represent?
We represent all the major carriers - we are agents for just about every one. This is CRITICAL for a successful implementation because in a number of cases our engineers know the cell phones for the engineers from the carrier. When something comes up on a job, we know who to call to get fast response. Try that with Verizon or SBC! You call the 800# like everyone else and hope to get help! -
How long does it take to switch to your plan / set up a new plan?
The longest time element in changing to our system is the time it takes the carrier (if changing carriers) to get the new circuits installed. This is typically anywhere from 4-6 weeks. We can move much faster than that, typically only 2 weeks of ordering goods, planning, etc., but preferably more. -
What kind of volume discounts do you provide?
Our systems are competitively priced at both small and larger sizes. Pricing for phone systems typically breaks down to a price per phone, "all-in". The larger a system is, the lower the price per phone. -

Can we contact some of your past clients for references?
Yes - of course you may contact our clients. We have sold and/or support well in excess of 200 customers using our VoIP-based systems. We typically give a sheet with 18 references, and we could provide dozens more if requested. Our customers love to evangelize about our products and services. -
What makes you qualified? What are your professional certifications?
A number of factors make a company successful in the world of VoIP systems: 1) Knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN/Internet/Routers, etc.). This is CRITICAL. 2) Years of experience installing IP-based phone systems 3) Application experience (email systems, database integration, etc.). Today's phone systems go far beyond the phone to every other aspect of your business. We EXCEL in all the above. -
What services do you provide? What are your specialities?
We are computer-telephony integrators. This means we focus on the VoIP phone system area. We frequently do all things technological for smaller customers and focus only on VoIP for the largest ones. We also specialize in fixed, wireless networking (rooftop-to-rooftop high-speed links) and fax servers, IVR systems, etc. -
Why should we use you for our network consulting needs?
Most computer networks are pretty forgiving. That is, until you introduce a VoIP phone system -- then look out! Nothing is more frustrating than having your phone system go down and not knowing why. There are very effective tools we can provide you to proactively manage your network to prevent problems. We enable our customers to do it themselves. It is the most cost-effective strategy, by far.
